In addition to this, the technicians will need to register with the ARDMS in order to appear more professional. Note that you do not absolutely HAVE to register, and you could in fact get by without, but a registered ultrasound technician is though to be much more professional than one who is not certified. This certification will gain you more respect, and therefore more money in the long run.
